The pool and park is located within the 4,700-acre sustainable community development at the former Stapleton Airport Site. The landscape draws from the ecologies and culture of prairie life with an inspired Mid-Century Modern theme and a rich layering of plant communities which reflect Colorado’s native and naturalized landscape. The landscape reduces negative impacts on water quality, and contributes to urban wildlife habitat.
